Malakhov
Alexander is an abstract artist working in the style of reductive art. Graduated from the Penza University of Architecture and Construction. Entered the TOP 100 AD Russia Design Award, 2021. In his artistic practice, the author works with geometric and organic abstraction. Uses repetition, monochrome colors and basic shapes. The distinctive features of his works are seriality, minimalism and simple materials. The author pays attention to precise technique and controls every stage of creating an object. All works are published in limited editions. The artist explores color, form and line to create composition and balance in his work. Deconstructs complex meanings into simple forms and creates new narratives. In his practice, Alexander uses pure materials such as plywood, steel, glass and artisanal art techniques, combining them with digital machine technologies. His works are sculptures and objects that work with space. They create fascinating worlds for the mind in which the viewer is free to interpret.
